Exam registration during the registration period

  • Usually possible on the KIT student portal
  • For other degree programs where online-registration is disabled through timely submission of the registration certificate at the responsible office (Theda Schmidt or Marion Rihm)
  • In case of problems or questions please contact the study office early enough

Unregister from exams

  • For exams managed on the KIT student portal online it is possible during the registration/unregistration period
  • Later, unregistrations are only possible on the day of the exam through letting the exam supervisors know before the start of the exam or through a timely email containing a scan of the personal ID or passport. A failure to appear without timely unregistration or late arrival at the exam are rated with a 5,0 - failed - (see hints of the Examination Secretariat C.3 or the respective examination regulations).
  • Concerning oral exams, the unregistration has to happen at least three working days before the respective exam date.
  • Please consider the additional information in §9 of the study and examination regulations of the KIT Department of Economics and Management.

 
Oral re-examinations

  • Oral re-examinations take place after not passing the written exams twice. Invitations are only sent to the u-email adress.
  • If only one exam was not passed, the student cannot claim an oral exam. This also holds true if the first attempt taken was on the date of a retake exam.
  • Please keep in mind that Statistics I is an orientation exam for the course Industrial Engineering and Management (B.Sc.).
