List of allowed calculators

Calculators with the following properties are not allowed:

  • integrating / differantiating
  • calculation of extrema
  • multiple regression
  • calculation of distribution functions like the (standard) normal distribution, poisson distribution, etc.
  • algebraic equations, e.g., calculation of zero points of polynomials
  • graphs

A list of the most common, allowed models:

  • Casio FX-82 MS, ES, ES Plus, DE, DE Plus, GT, GT Plus, SX Plus
  • Casio FX-85/86 MS, ES, ES Plus, DE, DE Plus, GT, GT Plus, WA
  • Casio FX-350 MS, ES
  • TI-30 alle außer PRO
  • TI-34 II
  • Sharp EL-W531G, H, RH, XH
  • Sharp EL-W531XG
  • Sharp EL-531 WH
  • Sharp EL-520 WG
  • Sharp EL-520 VA
  • Olympia LCD-8110, LCD-8310 und LCD-9210

In case you do not want to use any of the above models, please check that it does not have the mentioned properties.

The model Casio FX-87DE Plus for example is not allowed, as it is able to compute distribution functions.
